Success is a journey, not a race—every step forward brings you closer.
Kim, originally from Vietnam, is currently a master’s student in the International MBA (IMBA) program at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU). Her journey began when she completed her bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration at Feng Chia University, Taiwan, consistently excelling as one of the top students in her class. After graduating, Kim returned to Vietnam and spent nearly four years working in various roles, including Sales, Operations Coordinator, and Purchasing. These positions gave her hands-on experience in diverse business functions and industries. However, as her career progressed, she realized she wanted to deepen her understanding of global business strategies and acquire specialized knowledge to expand her opportunities.
When considering a master's degree, Kim faced many questions: Why pursue further education? Why Taiwan again? Why NTHU? For Kim, the answers were clear. Taiwan had already been a second home to her—a country full of welcoming people, rich culture, and opportunities to learn Mandarin. Returning to Taiwan felt natural.
NTHU stood out because of its reputation as one of Taiwan's top universities, offering academic excellence and an inclusive and global learning environment. Kim was particularly drawn to the IMBA program at NTHU because of its unique curriculum that integrates technology with business—a combination she sees as essential for industries in the digital age. She appreciated how the program allows students to specialize in areas that align with their interests and career goals. For Kim, who was still exploring her professional direction, this was the perfect fit.
She has made friends from around the world, participated in enriching activities such as company visits and networking events, and enjoyed the vibrant student life at NTHU. Among the highlights of her experience are the Bee Partner Program, where she shared meals with local friends, and traveling around Taiwan to explore its natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Kim is especially grateful for the support she has received from the IMBA and OGA departments, whose encouragement has made her feel at home in Taiwan. These experiences have inspired her to give back to the community, leading her to join the IMBA Student Council as a member of the Finance team. She hopes her contributions can support her department and future IMBAers.
Though her journey is just beginning, Kim is confident that her decision to join NTHU’s IMBA program will prove to be one of the best she has ever made.
