Why NTHU AMP is the RIGHT PLACE to extend your career?

Why NTHU?

NTHU is a prestigious university with a long history; it initially focused on the field of atomic science and then expanded to science and engineering in general. Over the past few decades, NTHU has actively developed more varied fields, including liberal arts & social science, life science, electrical & information engineering, and technology management. Gradually, NTHU has become a balanced institution in the development of its literature, science, and engineering programs. Furthermore, the campus is close to the ITRI and Science Park, an advantage which directly provides NTHU with abundant industrial resources and the full range of Taiwan’s technological development. Apart from such external resources, NTHU is wholly composed of talented students and outstanding teachers. Based on these advantages, the program expects to integrate existing technology with human resources and provide access to the adjacent high technology companies.

Our alumni have not only received many awards but have also demonstrated outstanding performance in both academia and business. To be more specific, three Nobel Prize winners and one Wolf Prize winner are included in its total, demonstrating Tsing Hua’s honorable historical tradition and exceptional style of study.

Why CTM?

The College of Technology Management was founded in 2000 and was the first college in Taiwan to focus on this particular field. CTM combined technology management with an original science & engineering foundation of some prominence to develop interdisciplinary management courses and research projects. Moreover, CTM aims at combining talent oriented towards technology management with solid economic knowledge and cultivates them by comprehensive training. It identifies international trends and the latest issues, integrating faculties from management, finance, information and law.

In 2015, NTHU CTM earned AACSB international certification, the most prestigious, stringent, and widespread business education network and association, and became one of the top 5% certified universities in the world. The certification not only earned an award for CTM, but also made a  positive impact on the improvement of internationalization and research quality.
