Originally from Kosovo, Gresë Emini has built her career around empowering others through finance and business development. While completing her studies, she also began her professional journey in the microfinance sector, working with institutions that supported small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country. Balancing work and school wasn’t always easy, but it taught her discipline, time management, and how passion can push you through long days.
With a professional background rooted in finance, she developed a strong understanding of how organizations function and how strategic thinking can shape meaningful outcomes. Her work experience exposed her to both the operational and analytical sides of business, inspiring her to seek broader knowledge and an international perspective. This ambition eventually led her to pursue an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU).
At NTHU, Gresë found more than just an academic program; she found a community of ambitious, creative, and forward-thinking individuals. For her, being an IMBAer means belonging to a family that values diversity, teamwork, and cross-cultural learning. Every group project and case discussion offers a new lens on business and leadership, helping her grow into a more globally minded professional.
The highlight of her IMBA journey has been collaborating with classmates from all over the world, exchanging perspectives on innovation and sustainability. Those moments have shaped her vision of how local initiatives in Kosovo can connect with global opportunities.
Looking ahead, Gresë plans to combine her experience in microfinance with her IMBA education to promote sustainable business development and financial inclusion in emerging markets like Kosovo. Her goal is to keep building bridges between people, ideas, and opportunities wherever her path takes her.
